Construction of genetic circuit

In recent years, artificial genetic circuits and synthetic biology have been actively studied in the field of system biology. This research aims to realize complex gene expression by utilizing the regulatory relationship between genes and artificially combining these genes. In order to achieve complex gene expression, it is necessary to control the dynamic system of multiple biochemical molecules. For this purpose, not only molecular biology experiments but also the design of genetic circuits by computer simulation and system analysis is indispensable. We are trying to develop a gene circuit that oscillates gene expression periodically based on system design, system analysis, and molecular biology. (Joint research with UCLA James C. Liao)
